RATIONALE - DOLPHIN PARADE 2025
FEPSET was given the challenge to provide a contribution to the city, by painting one of the dolphins to be exhibited in the bay, a noble part of the city. The contest had a National range and more than 350 competitors applied;
The moto was: ‘Dolphins and Setúbal Bay, one of the most beautiful in the world, are two inseparable images’.
The initiative was promoted by the City Council and it’s aims are:
- to promote the waterfront
- raise awareness of the need to protect these animals
- “emphasize the importance of dolphins in the imagination of the Sadin people”.
The City Council provided the graphic form
THE PROCESS (1)
- In order to apply for the National contest, the class performed na internal skills competition, in order to enhance some creativity skills, perspective, divergent thinking and competition.
- Each of the students proposed at least 1 drawing to the dolphin and they were voted by the trainers from the technical field, as well as by the Eco-School Coordinator

TEAMWORK AFTER COMPETITION
- For the selection process, the members of the juri voted for the proposal that represented the city and its elements, considering the graphic form, the colours and the moto.
- The winner from our skills competition was proposed to the national contest and, in more than 350 competitors, was voted as one of the 20 dolphins to be painted and exhibited in the city.
- The dolphin was drawed and painted at school by the whole class, working in a team after the competition.
