Visit to the FM Salon 2025 Cultural and Creative Event in Czechia
On October 8, 2025, first-year students took part in a joint cultural event.
It was an exhibition called FM Salon, which took place at the Frýdek Castle.
The event was chosen for two reasons:
1) it presented a wide range of artists and artistic techniques from our city and
its surroundings
2) even beginning artists can participate in the "salon" exhibition => inspiration
for our students
At the beginning of the tour, the students were introduced to the purpose of the
event – to get to know the artistic background of our city and see the works of
local artists. The task was to choose several art techniques and artists that
interested them and describe how the individual works and the entire exhibition
affected them.
Finally, they were to evaluate the significance of the event.
The notes they took show that the purpose was fulfilled—the students were
interested in the exhibition, they evaluated its impact positively, and some
mentioned their own artistic ambitions and their intention to participate in the
next Salon.
